How We Can Help
DVR systems use proprietary file formats and modified file systems that are not read by Windows. We have proprietary software capable of identifying and extracting video streams (H.264, H.265) directly from the hard drive, even after formatting or attempted evidence deletion.
Common Symptoms
- Recordings were manually deleted
- DVR HDD was formatted
- DVR password loss
- DVR stopped recording or does not recognize HDD
- Equipment damaged by fire or water
- Images with glitches or skips
- HDD with bad blocks preventing playback
- Cyclic data overwrite (Loop)
How It Works
Understand the recovery flow in four steps, from free diagnosis to data delivery.
1. Free Diagnosis
Bring your media for a no-cost evaluation in our lab.
2. Technical Analysis
We identify the exact failure and send the quote and list of recoverable files.
3. Secure Recovery
After approval, we start the process in a controlled environment (Clean Room).
4. Data Delivery
Your files are recorded on new media or made available via secure cloud.

DVR Recovery FAQ
Can you recover deleted footage from a DVR?
Yes, we can often recover deleted footage by scanning the hard drive for video stream patterns, even if the file system index was cleared.
My DVR was damaged by fire. Can you still get the images?
If the hard drive platters inside are not warped by heat or contaminated, we can likely recover the data in our Class 100 lab.
