Class 100 Laboratory
How We Can Help
We understand that a stopped server means loss. Our engineering team virtually reconstructs the RAID array to recover data without the need to rebuild physical hardware, minimizing risks. We act on all RAID levels (software or hardware) and file systems (NTFS, EXT4, XFS, VMFS, ZFS).
Common Symptoms
- Failure in multiple disks (orange/red LED)
- Array in 'Offline' or 'Degraded' mode
- Loss of RAID configuration on controller
- Failure during Rebuild process
- Logical volume or partition corruption
- Server does not boot OS
- Files disappeared after update
- Ransomware or malicious attack
How It Works
Understand the recovery flow in four steps, from free diagnosis to data delivery.
1. Free Diagnosis
Bring your media for a no-cost evaluation in our lab.
2. Technical Analysis
We identify the exact failure and send the quote and list of recoverable files.
3. Secure Recovery
After approval, we start the process in a controlled environment (Clean Room).
4. Data Delivery
Your files are recorded on new media or made available via secure cloud.

Questions about RAID
I lost 2 disks in a RAID 5. Is it possible to recover?
Technically, a RAID 5 only tolerates the failure of 1 disk. However, often one of the disks failed previously and was not noticed, or failed logically. In the lab, we can extract data even from disks with physical failures, allowing us to reconstruct the array virtually and recover the data.
Should I try to Rebuild the RAID?
We do not recommend performing a Rebuild without a guaranteed backup. The Rebuild process intensely stresses the remaining disks. If there is another unstable disk, it can fail during the process, causing total data loss.
Do you need the physical server to recover?
In most cases, no. We only need the hard drives (HDDs) numbered in the original order. This speeds up transport and reduces logistical costs.

Meet our CEO,
Samir Mattar
HD Doctor is managed by Samir Mattar, CEO and Investing Partner, responsible for the substantial growth of the brand.
Samir comes from a traditional family of entrepreneurs operating in the national and international scenario. The most notable business is a car rental company, which today is publicly traded and has a valuation of $11 billion.
His professional journey began at age 14 when he actively participated in the administration of HD Doctor.
Samir is responsible for the massive growth of several technology companies that today have hegemony in their segments. In addition, he opened the largest data recovery laboratory in Latin America, located in São Paulo - SP, invested in cutting-edge technology, and brought 72% growth in the company's results last year.
